About
I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Yes, I am a proud Packer fan.

I was an only child and enjoyed a childhood filled with love, attention and hiking in the woods with my dad.

For college, I found myself at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I played tennis and softball and was a solid C student.
I refused to become a teacher but enrolled in the teacher-education program because my parents were worried I'd never get a job.

Despite my best efforts, I was soon ignited by the passion of making a difference in the world and became a teacher.

I moved to San Diego, California after college with an ex-boyfriend.

My professional world was rocked when I discovered an organization called High Tech High and fell in love with a methodology called Project-Based Learning (or PBL). I have worked with PBL ever since.

My personal world was rocked when I went through a few tough break-up's, moved out on my own and started seriously questioning who I was and what I wanted in life.

In 2013, I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain and met my (now) husband. We were married in 2014.

After working a short time in London, I moved to Denmark.

I'm now the mom of three awesome kids, a wife and the founder of Imagine If ApS (we support schools with Project-Based Learning and school transformation).

I enjoy going for daily hikes around our local lake, writing and singing karaoke.
