Loni Bergqvist
Velkommen
Welcome.
Hi you,
My name is Loni.
I am passionate about creating schools where all children find learning meaningful, and where they can find belonging and contribute to a community... exactly as they are.
I have worked in the school world since 2005. First as a teacher at a completely ordinary middle school, before finding High Tech High and falling in love with Project-Based Learning. Since 2014, I have been a coach, consultant and partner for schools that want to take the leap into school development and dare to try something different.
Although most of my professional experience is within Project-Based Learning and schools, I have always had a broader interest in transformation more generally. In 2013, I felt personally stuck. I decided to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain – an 800 km pilgrimage. That decision led me to meet my now-husband and move to the other side of the world... to Denmark. In 2025, I took a six month sabbatical to explore creative projects and figure out what I wanted to spend my time on. That period led me to sell the company I had founded and move into a professional life with more balance and intention. I am a big advocate for going into the unknown, reflecting deeply and exploring what is possible.
Personally, I live in Sorø with my (Danish) husband and three children. I love Halloween and spend most of October building a haunted house that takes up our entire front yard. I also need to walk and write every day to feel alive.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Loni Bergqvist
